Personal data is processed at Encore Jobs in accordance with national and European legislation and regulations on data protection, privacy and security. Encore Jobs attaches great value to handling your personal data in accordance with the fundamental principles relating to the processing of personal data. This privacy statement applies to the abovementioned websites of Encore Jobs, as well as the further (recruitment) services that we provide to you or your organization generated through our websites and recruitment platforms.  We process your personal data in a fair, lawful and transparent manner, correctly and with due care.

We process your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself.

Below you will find an overview of the (personal) data that we process:

  • Name, first name(s), address, place of residence, postal code, gender, date of birth, curriculum vitae (work history), diplomas, e-mail address, nationality, information about training;

  • Information about availability and interests and preferences;

  • Other data and matters to the extent (i) required by law or (ii) to the extent that permission has been given or (iii) provided voluntarily.

We do not process Special and/or sensitive personal data. If you upload a passport photo (this is voluntary), you thereby give permission for its storage and publication. When registering on the website you can choose to create your profile with (data from) your social media profile (facebook, linkedin, google etc). This is not mandatory.

We do not use your social media page(s) and/or profile(s) to monitor you or to merge databases.

 

Purpose of this processing of personal data:                                                           

We record data to:

  • Bringing supply and demand together in the labor market;

  • Provide service when using our website www.encore.jobs;

  • Sending the electronic version of the matching email;

  • To prepare anonymised statistical data for (potential) clients.

Encore Jobs uses technical information for statistical purposes as well as for the improvement and optimization of the website www.encore.jobs. This data is provided to third parties in so far as they are fully anonymized and therefore cannot be traced back to you.

The Encore Jobs Website automatically collects certain non-identifiable information about visitors to its website, including the Internet Protocol (IP) address of visitors’ computers, date and time of access to the website, the Internet address of the website from which the visitor is linked to the website of Encore Jobs, the IP address of the Internet Service Provider of the visitor, the operating system of the visitor, the parts, information and pages of the website that the visitor has visited and/or viewed, as well as the material that the visitor transmits or downloads from the Website. If you visit the website, Encore Jobs can save your session ID assigned by Google Analytics.

But of course also in accordance with the applicable statutory retention periods.

We share your personal data within the group to which Encore Jobs belongs and then only with employees who are authorized to have access to this data.

All employees are subject to confidentiality. The group to which Encore Jobs belongs consists of Encore Jobs and Encore group. 

 

Sharing of personal data with third parties:                                                            

We do not share your personal data to third parties and will only provide it if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you, improving our website (whereby your IP address may be processed) or to comply with a legal obligation. With companies that process your data on our behalf, we enter into a data processing agreement to ensure an appropriate level of security and confidentiality of your personal data. We remain responsible for this personal data processing.

On your first visit to our website we already informed you about these cookies and we asked for your permission to place them. You can opt out of cookies by setting your internet browser so that it no longer stores cookies.In addition, you can also delete all information that was previously stored via the settings of your browser. 

 

View, modify or delete data:                                                                                                      

You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by our company. You also have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organization appointed by you. If you want to make use of your right to object and/or right to data portability or if you have other questions/comments about data processing, please send a specified request to info@encore.jobs.

To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to enclose a copy of your proof of identity with the request.  To protect your privacy, make your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and Citizen Service Number (BSN) black in this copy.

Encore Jobs will respond to this in writing within one month of receipt of your request. We may contact you in order to adequately process your request. Depending on the complexity and the number of requests, Encore Jobs is entitled to extend this period by two additional months. You shall be informed by Encore Jobs of any such extension within one month of receipt of the request, together with the reasons for the delay. Encore Jobs only accepts to process your data protection rights after we have had the opportunity to identify you properly.

Encore Jobs can reject a request to exercise your data protection rights if:

  • Your request is not clearly specified;

  • Your identity cannot be established with reasonable certainty;

  • The data processing involved is allowed in connection with a fraud and/or criminal investigation, a legal obligation or a legal action;

  • The request follows a previous request within an unreasonable interval or if the request constitutes a misuse of your rights. An interval of 6 months or less will, in general, be considered as an unreasonable interval.

Any (partial) rejection of your request will be explained to you in writing.

Transfers of undertaking:                                                                                            

In the event of the sale or transfer of our company or assets, or a part thereof, Encore Jobs reserves the right to also transfer the personal data we obtained from you. In the event of such a sale or transfer, we will undertake a reasonable effort to impose the obligation to the purchaser to process the personal data in accordance with the terms of this privacy statement. If you have any questions about the processing of your personal data after such transfer or sale, you can contact the organization to which we have transferred your personal data.
